Network is a group of devices connected with a type of software that permits to share information, as post, news, between the devices connected in the network. 

Network has three types, LAN, MAN, and WAN. 

LAN (Local Area Network) is specially used for smaller areas for example buildings.

MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) is larger than LAN, can cover a city, if LANs joined they form a MAN

WAN (Wide Area Network) it exists in a large scale geographical areas.
